Dr Erin Bubner
Senior Scientist
Erin joined Nutrisea as an R&D consultant in 2017. Erin holds a Bachelor of Aquaculture and a PhD in Aquatic Marine Sciences. Erin has extensive experience working across the commercial Aquaculture industry. Previously, Erin worked as R&D Manager for Clean Seas, which involved projects that encompassed health, nutrition, feed management, selective breeding, harvesting, processing and product development. Erin has also worked as a tertiary level Lecturer at Flinders University, teaching Marine Biology and Aquaculture, and maintains academic status with the University.
In her role with Nutrisea, Erin assists principally with the development, implementation and management of R&D programs within the aquaculture industry. Erin also assists the industry to apply and implement government funded research projects, as well as manage internally funded projects through providing literature reviews, sample collection, data analysis and report writing. Erin thoroughly enjoys her connection with the seafood industry in her role at Nutrisea.
